Cape Coral/Fort Myers needs a little splash of Caribbean culture when it comes to restaurants. The most culture that we have when it comes to restaurants are Chinese restaurants. A Jamaican restaurant would be something that would shake up the mundane selection we have now. My goal is to bring to the people of Fort Myers/Cape Coral a slice of Jamaican paradise so they feel like they have gone to the beautiful island without the high ticket price of air fare and a hotel stay.

The price to get this off of the ground would be $60,000. I will keep this open for 5 months because I know that people need to see how much they can give according to their budget.

Pledges:

  • People who pledge $100 to my restaurant will receive a thank-you card with a 10% off coupon in it for a meal.
  • People who pledge $300 will receive a 40% discount for a meal.
  • People who pledge $600 will receive a free meal on the day of their choice.
  • People who pledge $1200 will be able to come in before the official opening and taste the food.
  • People who pledge $2400 will get a free meal three times a week.
  • People who pledge $4500 will receive a 4-day, 3-night cruise to Jamaica (2 tickets).
The different readers my ad will have are the people who have a love for food and would love to get a different type of restaurant out there so there is a better selection for them to choose from. People who stumbled across my posting and either was convinced by my ad that Cape Coral/Fort Myers needed a little more culture than just Chinese restaurant, or someone who stumbled across it and they could care less about what I have to say and thinks that my delivery could of been better. Another person that could be looking at my ad is someone that is just passing by and didn't even bother to read my ad, they accidentally clicked on it.

Website name: Music Through the Years

Purpose: To see the progression of R&B music from when it was first introduced into the music world until now. How the lyrics have become more sexually explicit and has lost its mystery and allure.

Readers:

  • Music lovers. The relationship that they would have to my website is that they are interested in anything that pertains to music and would either concur or disagree with what I have written. They would put in their opinions about how they feel music has declined or improved through the years.
  • People who have accidentally stumbled across my website. The relationship would that they would have is they would either read what it is I have written and make comments about it or there would be the occasional person who would just write anything that they feel on the website that necessarily has nothing to do with music. Some might even see the website and realize that it isn't something that they would take the time to read and keep searching for another site that piques their interest
  • Website critics. The relationship they would have to my website is to purely seek out something that is wrong and to post it to their website (if they have one) or to tell their friends about how good or bad my website was.
How I would design my blog is I would have a background that has a musical design. I might put a R&B artist, an instrument, or music notes might be the background. I would have music from the early days of R&B playing in the background so my readers can get an idea what music was like back then. I would have a description of my website and I would start on how I believe music has changed by giving some examples of lyrics from different artists. I would have a few graphics throughout to keep my reader interested in my website so they do not get bored, but I wouldn't put too much so they feel bombarded with images. I would make a comments section so people can put their opinions on how they feel music has changed or they can write if they like or dislike my website and how I can improve upon it.

Re-Commodore

Date: May 15, 2013
To: Naomi Prosper, CEO
From: Ashley Hussey, Labor Executive
cc: ALL EMPLOYEES

Enclosed is the list of former employees of Apple that I believe would be beneficial to our company and that would make the transition quick and efficient. I have looked over each and every candidate carefully and I am sure you will be pleased at who I have selected to be part of our team.

The first person I have chosen is Tim Crook. Even though his exterior may seem a bit rough around the edges and he may be callous at times, his brilliant mind compensates for what his exterior lacks. His clever mind has brought about many accomplishments with Apple, and I am very certain that same mind can bring about the same amount of success, or even supersede his past successes, with Re-Commodore.
The second person that would be a great addition is John Scuzz. He is also does not have the best exterior presence, but his skills when it comes to programming is unmatched. He helped develop the now wildly successful Leopard system. With those credentials we can not afford to not bring him aboard. There is another brilliant computer system brewing in his mind that will bring popularity to this company and help make a name for ourselves.
The final person that would work seamlessly with this company is Rachel Scandalous. She is always on the up and up when it comes to our competition. With her eyes in the skies she was able to bring Apple the iPad, and we have seen how they fly off the shelves at any store that sells them. She does not reveal the tactics that she uses, but she assures us that she will not disappoint and will always keep us updated when competition is coming out with something new.

Please look over the people I have chosen and see if they are up to par to what you have in mind to where you want to take this company. I believe the people I have chosen have the right set of skills that will surpass your expectations and make the company big enough that people would forget there ever was an Apple company.
